About Us

What is an allergist?

An allergist-immunologist is a physician specially trained to diagnose and treat allergies, asthma, and disorders of the immune system.  These conditions range from the very common to the very rare, spanning all ages and frequently involving multiple organ systems.  Allergists use specialized skin testing for diagnosis of certain conditions.
